Chosing a font - Focus Group
THE FOCUS GROUP Like with the title itself, I created a focus group on the popular film criticism messageboard, The Dissolve, and gave them the five options. These were the results. As you can see, the vote was split between Orator Std and VTKS Distress. Some felt that VTKS Distress was too over-the-top, and preferred the subtly of Orator Std, but others argued that a font's job is to quickly convey the genre and tone of the film, and because of this subtlety was not a priority. Looking back at the fonts I had used for my inspiration, I decided that none of them had been particularly subtle either, so I decided to go with VTKS Distress as my final font opeion. My Final Font
